King's Lynn has one of the country's best preserved heritage quarters, rich in medieval and Georgian buildings along its attractive waterfront and has a long history as a market town and port.
Its museums depict local sons including sea captains, Nelson and Vancouver, Britain’s first prime minister Robert Walpole and Frederick Savage, pioneer of traditional fairground rides.
The shopping centre has a range of unusual independent shops as well as many of the main high street retailers.
A short drive takes you into the wonderful Norfolk countryside of quaint villages, churches, windmills, beautiful beaches and magnificent country houses including Royal Sandringham.
King's Lynn is served by regular fast train links to London (approximately 90 minutes), Cambridge and Ely.
